In May, COAR’s director rewarded 20 of our kids for their excellent grades at the end of the 1st grading period and their overall good behavior. She sought out Salvadoran sponsors who paid for a rare field trip to a Cinemark movie theater to watch the newly released Spiderman 2. The kids were well behaved and simply loved being able to sit in a dark, air conditioned theater for two hours of pure fun. We congratulate the kids on their great work, and we thank the Salvadoran sponsors who made it possible! While giving a child a safe home, healthcare, education, and love is our primary goal, we also all love to see them smile, laugh, and be KIDS.
