St. Oscar Romero

  • Website of the Romero Trust, based in the UK has an excellent collection of St. Romero’s homilies and other quotes.
  • Biographies and studies of St. Romero are plentiful, and more are published every year. A good place to start, focusing on St. Romero’s scholarship to underpin and defend his writings and actions through the three years that he was Archbishop is:

Sr. Dorothy Kazel, OSU

  • Website of the Ursuline Sisters of Cleveland, has an excellent history of Sr. Dorothy Kazel and the Four Churchwomen (murdered December 2, 1980) and an excellent collection of presentations and other materials.
  • Also published by the Ursuline Sisters of Cleveland, a biography of Sr. Dorothy:

Ita Ford & Maura Clark

  • Website of the Maryknoll Sisters has pictures, video, and the history of their murdered Churchwomen, Srs. Ita Ford and Maura Clark, as well as Sr. Carla Piette who died in service to the community they served only months before December 2, 1980.
