Come and visit the COAR Children in Zaragoza, El Salvador

Application for 2025 (click here) submit it to our office by April 1st to reserve your spot

  • Meet the children, staff, and see the community around COAR
  • Teach English to our students in the morning
  • Spend afternoons and weekends at important sights such as St. Romero’s home and the grave site of the Four North American Churchwomen (detailed agenda will develop as reservations are confirmed)
  • Stay in the retreat center adjacent to COAR
  • Minimum 4-night stay (pick your own arrival and departure within the dates of the open house, above)
  • Cost: $250/day, ($200 deductible) including arrival and departure days, includes:
  • April 1st: Application form completed and submitted (including proof of Virtus or similar child protection training)
  • April 16th*: 100% of daily fee ($250 * number of days you will be present)
  • We reserve the right to cancel for any reason up until the day of departure* (e.g.; too few people sign-up, earthquakes, etc. – so purchase trip cancellation insurance!)
